International Model Boat Show 2023
Hi. What motors do you have installed ? Thank you
Except for the Bass guy on the right , they are all dead sad to say !
Not galleon, they 2nd rate ship of the line, British by the color scheme... at least the thumbnail
how could they sail against the wind?
If you're speaking about the models you can see they have propellers, if you're talking about the real ships they couldn't sail perfectly against the wind, but could come close to it, depending on sail configuration up to 20º ish degrees deviated from fully against the wind, some sailships can actually sail faster like this than running with the wind behind, won't go too deep but sails work not only as a parachute getting pushed by the wind, which gets weaker the more the ship approaches to the speed of wind but also as a wing of an aircraft, generating lift, which gets stronger the more the faster the wind traverses the sail, some sailships can sail faster than the wind
how does they firing?
Freddie was a genius, never to be reapeated was Freddie im happy he got to sing with the Jordinaires,i imagine it didnt get any better for him,RIP Freddie
Definitely was a flying saucer 🛸
Those are man o wars
Let's get serious. Someone please build a 1:1 model of a Star Destroyer.
Freddie star was a great singer and a impersonater taking Elvis presley of he will still Live on poor Freddie 😢
Freddie was a a funny man with a fantastic voice
I agree that Freddie Starr voice was the nearest to Elvis voice than any other Elvis Tribute Artist
Still my favourite thing to watch on You tube. Just LOVE it xx
Where is your Rivarama model from?
Hi ebay years ago
Very cool
It's fantastic how he's singing with the same group who sang with Elvis.
Giants do exist they're really full sized ships captured by giants
Brilliant
I'm sorry but if you can get on the modle and sit in it it's not classed as a modle it's a real ship or boat....😮
Still cool though
I’ve seen some amazing models of boats made by people who own the real thing. A guy built a replica of his 26’ TollyCraft complete with air horns , Radar , Anchor, etc. He showed at Fisherman’s Festival in Ballard and immediately had an inquiry as to how to build one of them like a 28’……?? He said $6k and next thing he knew…… I found him a miniature salesman sample of a common “Bruce” plow in bronze and he just about cried when he spied it . He lost the radio contact at one event and had to roam docks until he heard his horn beeping. Loved the huge battleship. Good stuff.
Hi Graham many years ago I lived near the msc, had the pleasure of days out on the Msc Volant and the victory, viceroy and vanguard. Lovely to see a beautiful working model. Regards Barry
Fuck,! This is crazy!
Nice idea, model sailing ships in a skirmish but I wonder if the creator of this video actually knows what a galleon is. One of the ‘French’ ships vaguely resembled one but all the others, the ‘French’ frigate and the ‘British’ despatch schooner (ketch-rigged) Brig-sloop and 64-gun ship-of-the-line were none of them galleons but from an era at least century later. I’m awaiting the video in which all naval guns are referred to as cannons.
Thank you Mike
Wow!!!! Amazing 😮
To scale these ships are travelling at hundreds of knots.
Not easy to put on a show with old ships crowd will not wait 🙋
The last one "Majesty of the Seas" is a canal boat built by a man in France, from an article online: "A gentleman in France named Francois Zanella, after getting sick of building the average size cruise ship models, decided to take things one step further and spent 11 years building a huge replica of Majesty of the Seas. It is 1/8th scale, 33.5 metres long, 4.75 metres wide and an impressive 100 tonnes. Francois started building the replica in his garden in Moselle, France, which is ironic as Majesty of the Seas was too built in France by Chantiers de l’Atlantique. If that wasn’t impressive enough you might also be surprised to know that the model is actually a fully functional canal boat and with a draft of 1.06 metres she is the perfect size to gain admittance to most European canals. Now some of you have may have already seen and heard of this as construction was actually completed in 2005 (he started building it in 1993) so we are going back quite a few years but for those of us who have just discovered it - amazing, right?! Once construction was complete the boat was carefully transported to Sarreguemines, in north-eastern France, where she was launched and christened. She is currently sailing her way through Europe with her creator living onboard full time."
Be nice with a helipad and a 1/8 helicopter to take off and land.
Love the Dracula music.
omg fuck slideshows
That is a big model it would be nice to see all of it You know, like in a video because this is RUclips. After all, where people post videosnot just pictures. It's RUclips, not you Picture
Hmm…that gives me an idea. I might just start an app and call it YouPicture.
At this point, just make it a 1:1 scale. You've already gone too far.
Just big toy boats is all, built by odd people😂😂
That’s not a model. It’s not a boat either! It’s a SHIP!!!
Замечательно прекрасная подборка различных моделей. Супер!
That cruiseliner s mental
I know nothing about this but the last giant how much do you think that costs to make all-in? USD?
About 500 dollars.
I have a 1/16 scale FAC for RC. (German 1970's type). INTERIOR as well as EXTERIOR. My problem is the running gear. At 9'6" and 200lbs, no model shafts and props are big enough. I used 2 ct down yamaha 3hp outboard props but still have not the ability to make a leak proof 30" prop shafts. Any suggestions?
Random video for me. I've always appreciated all sorts of models especially having been a reasonably competent plastic model builder. With movie making, large models are rarely a surprise, and are expected more often than not. But large models are quite surprising when it comes to individual model builders. As the video shows, one requirement is some place to keep them during, and after fabrication. It's also hard to imagine the time, and resources invested by one person. I recently saw a video about a miniaturist, and fine model builder. One of his models is of a four wheeled horse drawn wagon about 18 in long. If I remember correctly, he estimated it took over 2000 hours to complete. So large or small, that's a lot to invest either way. So hats off to those who can do it.
The majestic is a fine model but the basic roof lets it down. It needs the upper pool deck and funnels.
The maker of this video has no clue what a galleon is, or how a ship of the line looks like, or from what time periods they are.
Thank You 😂
If that's the case that's just fine.
I find it crazy how something the size of a yacht is a model.
Fantastic
Jordanaires and Freddie star
2:46 The Majestic looks amazing. This got me thinking, how hard would it be to make a real yacht this size, but have it appear to be a much larger ship? Toy for a billionaire.
They need to be in the water operating.
Titanic and the cruiseship fucking killed me
Не понимаю зачем в таком масштабе моделировать, это уже малотоннажная лодка получается!
ok the pirate ship is amazing, like i fully want to get some gi joes dressed as pirates and play with it like a little kid
Aaargh, Ahoy there matey, I too want to do the same. Aaargh.
Large model of the roku caribbean vessel
So which world caribbean ship is that song of America or sovereign of disease?
